These terms cover the use of sodutch.com.au and the services provided by SoDutch Web Design & SEO, operated by SoDutch Pty Ltd (ABN 34 692 369 396). By engaging us or using this site you agree to them. Plain English wherever possible, because that is how we work.

Quotes and pricing

• All prices on this site and in quotes are in Australian dollars and exclude GST unless stated otherwise.
• Published package prices are starting points; your fixed quote reflects the agreed scope. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before it starts.
• Invoices are payable per the payment terms stated on your quote or invoice.

Websites

• Each package includes the number of pages and revision rounds listed on the pricing page. Additional revisions or pages are quoted separately.
• Project timelines depend on receiving your content (text, photos, account access). Delays in supplying content extend the timeline, not the price.
• Every new website includes a free .com.au domain for the first year and 3 months of free hosting, as described on the pricing page.
• You own it. On full payment, the website, its content and the domain are yours outright. No lock-in contracts.

Hosting, care plans and domain names

• Hosting & Care and domain name registrations are billed 12 months in advance and are non-refundable, as they are prepaid services purchased on your behalf.
• You may cancel ahead of any renewal; the current prepaid period runs to its end date and everything you own goes with you.
• Domain names are registered in your name.

SEO and monthly services

• SEO retainers, Trade Social and TradeProof are month-to-month with no lock-in. Cancel any time ahead of the next billing cycle.
• We never guarantee specific rankings; nobody honestly can. We report plainly every month on what was done and what it produced.
• Content and assets created for you during a paid engagement are yours.

Acceptable use and liability

• You must have the rights to any content you supply for your project.
• The material on this website is general information, not professional advice for your specific situation.
• To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the services is limited to the amount paid for the services giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
