Take the whole hire desk online.
Equipment Hire Cairns rents earthmoving and DIY machinery: Cat 301.5 mini excavators, 3.2-tonne hydraulic tipper trailers, concrete saws, and a DIY combo you can tow and run on a standard car licence. The owner was drowning in back-and-forth calls about what was free and what it cost. The brief was simple: make the entire hire desk work online, so a customer can find a machine, see it is available, book it and pay, without a single phone call.
What we built
Booking on autopilot.
- ✓Real-time booking, wired into Booqable. We integrated the site with Booqable, the leading equipment-rental platform, so every machine shows live availability and customers book and pay online. The sales process runs itself, freeing the owner to focus on the gear instead of the diary.
- ✓The full fleet, each machine bookable. Every unit (the Cat 301.5 excavator, the 8x5 3.2-tonne tipper, the concrete saws and the DIY combo) has its own listing with specs, rates and a live calendar, so people hire the exact machine they need.
- ✓A Cairns skyline of its own. The city skyline runs along the top edge of the footer, a custom local touch that makes the site unmistakably Cairns and unmistakably theirs, not a template.
- ✓Car licence, big machine. The site leads with the combo you can tow and operate on a normal car licence, opening machinery hire to weekend renovators and DIYers, not just licensed builders.
