The brief
The brief
Breathe Easy Counselling is led by Kellie Myers, an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician working across the Atherton Tablelands and Cairns. The practice treats anxiety, depression, trauma, adolescent mental health and eating disorders. A therapy website has to feel safe before it explains anything, then quietly answer the practical questions: what it costs, how to be referred, how to book. The site holds both, a warm, inclusive tone up front and transparent fees, itemised referral pathways and online booking underneath.
What we built
What we built
- ✓Booked without a phone call. A Book Online option and a dedicated Referral Form page let clients and referring GPs start the process in the moment, alongside a contact form protected by CAPTCHA to keep enquiries clean.
- ✓Fees stated plainly. A Referrals and Fees page lists real figures, $160 for a 50-minute session with an $82.30 Medicare rebate and $230 for a 90-minute consultation, so cost is never a barrier or a surprise.
- ✓A pathway for every client. The site maps out GP Mental Health Treatment Plans with item numbers, eating disorder referrals under Item 82380, free Connect to Wellbeing sessions and NDIS access, so referrers know exactly what to do.
- ✓Inclusion you can see. Australian, Torres Strait Islander, Aboriginal and Rainbow flags sit in the footer, a visible signal of the practice's stated commitment to inclusivity and its promise to welcome everyone with open arms.
